Ellen has personally assessed and managed thousands of cases of inappropriate pursuit, threats, and harassment, including situations involving mentally ill people who stalk public figures, disgruntled current and former employees, and cases of domestic violence.
Ellen is a well-regarded advisor on developing Workplace Violence Prevention Programs; she has taught federal agencies, hospitals, universities, media entities, and Fortune 500 Corporations.
Ellen was the Program Manager for design of the MOSAIC for Assessment of Student Threats. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Ecology, specializing in Psychology/Social Behavior, with a minor in Sociology, from the University of California. She also successfully completed graduate courses in Psychology at Pepperdine University.
Ellen received her Certificate in Trauma Response Specialist from California State University.
Ellen served on the Board of IMPACT Personal Safety, and is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP).
Ellen has been with GDBA since 1996.
