Michael LaFever is a partner in GDBA who has advised high-risk clients since 1979. He is the firm’s liaison with LAPD, U.S. Department of State, Department of Defense, Secret Service, and various international law enforcement agencies. Michael was the only civilian attendee at the Central Intelligence Agency’s first Threat Management Conference.
Bob Martin is a pioneer in the field of threat assessment. Before joining GDBA, Bob ran the Special Investigations Bureau for LAPD, and prior to that, he was Commanding Officer of Detective Headquarters Division. In 1989, he created the Nation’s first Threat Management Unit at LAPD, and later founded the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals. Bob has been with GDBA for 23 years.
